Our Journey

The YUN Story

We grew out of cord manufacturing, not out of trading. That origin still shapes how we work — we care about the rope first, and the marketing second.

2014

Started with braided cord

Began producing braided nylon cord and simple wrist straps for export. One standard: consistent diameter and no fraying at the cut ends.

2017

In-house hardware plating & assembly

Realised clients needed finished straps, not just cord. Brought slider, clasp and plate assembly in-house so fit and finish stayed under our control.

2020

OEM & private label took shape

As brand clients grew, we built a full private label system — Pantone colour matching, custom hardware shapes and branded packaging.

2023

Serving 30+ countries

Client base expanded across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with documentation support for each market.

A lanyard only fails in one place — the joint. That is where we focus our testing.

Static Load Testing

Assembled straps hung with weights at the load-bearing joint for a fixed duration. 10 kg standard, 12–15 kg on heavier formats.

Colourfastness & Rub Testing

Cord and webbing checked for colour transfer and fading, because a strap presses against clothing all day.

Salt-Spray on Hardware

Metal parts salt-spray tested with plating thickness measured, so a matte black finish does not turn silver in a month.

Weave & Diameter Checks

Rope diameter and weave density measured per batch so the strap in your repeat order feels the same as the sample.

Sample-to-Bulk Matching

Retained samples kept against every production run. What you approved is what ships.

Production & Quality Control

Manufacturing runs against the approved specification, followed by load, colour and hardware inspection before packing.

Packed to the confirmed requirement and shipped by the agreed method — air, sea, express or consolidated, with FBA direct shipping supported.
