Most phones are not dropped from a rooftop — they are dropped from 60 centimetres, mid-photo, with one hand and a finger barely on the edge. The Y115 Cloud Loop Silicone Phone Wrist Strap is engineered for that exact moment.
How phones actually get dropped
The classic drop is a one-handed reach: thumb on the screen, fingers cradling the edge, someone calls your name, and the grip opens. A lanyard solves it not by padding the fall but by removing the single point of failure — the finger grip.
The Y115 does this with Soft silicone + steel patch; 0.18 mm ultra-thin; 360° rotating heart.

Where the Y115 catches a falling phone
Two parts share the work:
- The anchor. A thin stainless steel or TPU patch slides under the case and through the strap; the case clamps it, so the pull is distributed across the case, not the phone body.
- The loop or grip. The strap turns a fingertip grip into a whole-hand hold — the phone can be tapped and photographed with the strap loose, then cinched tight in a crowd.
The ultra-thin anchor profile is deliberate: it must never block the charging port or wireless charging, or users remove it — and a removed strap protects nothing.
Quick release: taking the phone off on purpose
Drop protection only works if the strap stays installed, which is why deliberate release matters: paying at a counter, mounting on a tripod, handing the phone to someone. The Y115's connector separates cleanly when you choose and reattaches without tools. The habit loop is simple enough to actually keep.
Carry-style trade-offs around the Y115 sit in the Wrist vs neck vs crossbody: choosing a carry style; the full specification is on the Y115 product page.
