Colour is usually the first buying decision on a phone lanyard — before cord diameter, before hardware, before packaging. This guide walks through what the Y372 Adjustable Phone Lanyard Strap with Zip Pouch offers out of the box, and what happens when you want your own shade.
Why colour decides lanyard orders
Retail buyers rarely ask “how strong is the cord” first. They ask “does it match my range?”. A lanyard sits against the phone body all day, so its colour is compared directly with cases, bags and packaging on the shelf.
That is why every Yunstrap model ships in ready stock colourways first: you can fill a display or test a market without committing to a dye run. Custom colour becomes interesting once one colourway proves itself and you want the next production run in your own palette.

Matching a custom colour on the Y372
Custom colour on the Y372 starts with a reference, not a guess. Any of these works as a starting point:
- a Pantone number for the cord or webbing
- a physical sample of the colour you want matched
- your brand artwork, from which we pick the closest achievable shade
The cord and the webbing dye differently, so each is matched separately. We confirm feasibility, send a pre-production sample in the matched colour, and only proceed once you approve the physical swatch. Minimum quantities, sampling cost and lead time for a custom colour run are confirmed per project by our sales team.
Stock colours first, custom colours second
A practical path for most brands: launch the Y372 in two or three stock colourways, watch which one moves, then move that winner into your own shade for the reorder. You spend the custom-tooling budget on the colour that has already proven demand.
